Who is the dreamer? Sleep

If you ask any man in this world: "Who is that up?, Who is the dreamer?, Who is the one who is asleep without dreaming? "

answer:
" It's where I wake up, is the I the dreamer, is where I sleep. "

If you ask:
"What is this I?"

I respond:
"This body is the Self."

I would also say that the body is sleeping. When the brain is tired or exhausted, it is the body you sleep, when the brain is disturbed, it is the body that dreams and when the brain is rested, is the body that wakes up after sleep.

A psychologist who has made a special study of the mind will say that the mind, which is based in the brain, is the "I". I would also say that the mind is inseparable from the brain and that it will perish along with the physical body.

The metaphysical and dealing with the spirit arguing that the mind continues to exist somewhere after the death of the body. According to psychologists, metaphysicians and dealing with the spirit, the mind is what wakes the sleeper and the dreamer and the mind is the "I".

A theologian would say that there is a soul that is completely independent of the body and mind and that is the soul that wakes, dreams and sleeps and that the soul is the "I". This soul enters another body according to the law of Karma.

a Vedantin say that neither this body nor the mind nor the soul are the "I". That there is a pure consciousness, or Atman in all beings, which is infinite, eternal, omnipresent, self-existent, Heating, and self-contained, which has no part, is timeless, unborn and that is beyond space and death. The Atman is the real "I". This "I" never wake up, sleep, or dreams. He is the seer or the silent witness (Sakshi) of the three states of waking, dream and sleep. He remains in state Turiya, the fourth state, which transcends the other three states.

is the false "I" called "Ahamkara" or ego, or the Jiva, who wakes, sleeps and dreams. He is awake, the sleeping and dreaming are changing and therefore personalities and unreal.

The true self, the real "I" never wakes nor sleeps, nor dreams. From the standpoint of the Absolute Truth, or Paramartha Satta, no one is awake or asleep, or dreaming.

One dreams many things will never experience in this life, as when we dream that we're flying through the air.

A dream is a completely new experience, because in most cases is the memory of past experiences.

wakefulness in the light of self is intertwined with the functions of the organs of action and perception, intellect, mind, the lights of the outside world, etc.

In dreams, the being becomes clear and isolated, because the organs of action and perception (the senses) and the lights do not work, as the sun, to help them, are absent.

The dreamer is not affected by whatever the result of good or bad you see in sleep. Nobody considered a potential sinner who has committed sins during sleep. The people who have heard of your dreams, do not condemn they will not evade.

who dream only appears to carry out an activity in sleep, but really there is no such activity. Scripts (Sutri) state: "Go who enjoys the company of women ." (Bri. Up IV, III.13). Describe your experience in dreams conditionally: " I see today as if a herd of elephants were running ." So, being the dreamer does not have any activity during sleep.

The action is performed by contact of body and senses. We never see one without so that it is active. The Self has no form, therefore, is not attached. As this Ser is detached, it remains untouched or affected by what is envisaged in the dream. From here we can not attribute any activity, since the activity comes from the body contact and sensory organs. No contact to be, because this infinite being is unattached and is immortal.

Some doctors say: "Do not awaken suddenly or abruptly" because they believe that during sleep being leaves the body of the waking state, through the gates of the sense organs and remains isolated out there. If someone wakes up abruptly, may not find those gates of the organs to return.

Can not find the right body, the body can become a problem for the physician. No back through the doors of the organs may be due to various causes and can produce some defects such as blindness or deafness, trying for the doctor.

dreams are due to mental impressions (Vasanas) produced during the waking state. The level of awareness or lucidity in a dream depends on prior knowledge acquired during wakefulness.

Dreams are meant to cheer or sadden and frighten the sleeper, so that will compensate for their actions positive or negative. Your Adrishta (target) thus provides an efficient cause of dreams.

Even in the dream state, not all instruments of being at rest. Even then, being connected with Buddhi (intellect) as scriptures say: " Having become a dream, with the Buddhi [I] is beyond this world " " When the senses remain at rest and the mind is at rest but engaged with objects, you know that this state is the sleep. "

The scriptures say that desires are modifications of the mind (Bri. Up Iv-3). The wishes are seen in dreams. Therefore, being vague and dreams along with the mind.

Writing, to describe our actions in dreams qualified by the term " as if . " " As if rejoicing with women, or as if laughing or having terrible visions " (Bri. Up IV, iii-13). Ordinary people also describe the dreams in the same way. " I went up as if on top of a mountain, and saw a tree, or whatever ."

Building dreams is not real. The reality implies the presence of factors such as time, space and causality. Furthermore, the reality can not be boring or make it appear absurd or inconsistent. The creation of dreams do not have temporal features, spatial and causal.

Dreams are called 'Sandhya' or intermediate state that is halfway between wakefulness and sleep state, between the Jagrat and Sushupti.

III

Dreams, though strange and illusory nature, are a good indicator of the high or low, both moral and spiritual , of the dreamer. He who has a heart pure and unsullied dreams will never impure. An applicant you are always meditating will dream of his Sadhana (spiritual practice) and the object of his meditations. He will worship the Lord and recite His Name and Mantra, even during sleep, by force of Samskara.

Some Karmas are developed and solved in dreams also. A King experienced a dream in which he lived as a beggar and suffered the pains of hunger and thus, some negative karmas of the king were purged with that experience.

If a man can not become king, because the baleful influence of some planets, then he can play the role of king in his dreams, his strong desire is embodied in the dream state.

When one experiences pleasant dreams, you get more pleasure in dreams in the waking state, because the mind works more freely during sleep.

If you have made preparations to go to Bombay on the morning of April 30, you may have a dream the night before your trip, where you're buying a ticket at the station, get on the train and then find upon arrival that some friends have come to meet you on the platform of the station in Bombay. Strong thoughts of the waking state find expression once during the dream state.

When a strong desire not met during the vigil, you get your satisfaction during sleep. The mind has more freedom in the dream state, then the mind is like a raging elephant that is unleashed.

How To Get A Shiny Pokemon In Fire Red

Dream Dream State Studio

Once a disciple approached his Guru, prostrated before His Lotus Feet on with folded hands and posed the following question:

Disciple: Oh my Revered Guru! Please tell me, what is the way to go through this cycle of births and deaths?

Guru: My dear disciple ! If you can understand who you are, then you can overcome this cycle of births and deaths.

Disciple: Oh Guru! I'm not dumb enough to not understand. There is no man on earth who does not understand himself, but every one of them are suffering their cycles of births and deaths.

Guru: No, no. You should understand the nature of body and the person it is for this body. Only then can say that one has understood itself.

Disciple: Who is the person who owns this body?

Guru: This Deha (body) belongs to Dehi (Atman). Try to understand the true nature of Atman (Supreme Being).

Disciple: not see anyone next to this body.

Guru: When this body was dreaming, who was the person who experienced your dreams? Again, during deep sleep, who was the one who enjoyed that status? When you wake up, who is the one who is aware of the real world, your dreams and the depth of sleep?

Disciple: begin to have some idea of \u200b\u200bthe nature of the Atman which is present in the three states.

In the earlier conversation between the Guru and his disciple, it is clear that the states of dreaming and deep sleep are worthy of our study to understand the true nature of the soul, and we intend to take at least some knowledge of our consciousness in the waking state.

The dream is but a disturbance of the sleep and the first study, with regard to their origin, function, purpose and meaning, will lead us naturally to study also deep sleep state.

The best way to study a subject is to trace the history and development of the hand of eminent authors and focusing our critical thinking about what we have studied in their treaties and rectify any omission, when we have a complete and satisfactory analysis on the subject.

The dream reveals itself within these unconscious mental mechanisms that evolved during its development to control and shape the primitive instinctual ego and mold to that form of conduct demanded by modern civilization. It is therefore essential to interpret dreams, to have effective knowledge of sleep as a way of operating characteristic of the psyche, that is, having the knowledge of the mechanisms of sleep and the theory of unconscious symbolism. This knowledge can be gained intellectually, through books written by authorities in the matter, but the inner conviction is the result only of personal analytic experience.

dreams should be considered as products of individual psychic, from the store of specific experiences and indeed the subject of dreams may consciously not remember or know about these experiences.

In the analysis of a dream, it seems that the assimilation by the ego of the knowledge of the unconscious mind, is an essential part of the psychic process. The underlying principle is a valid explanation for the revelation of the unknown, which is implicit in what is known in terms of the individual. This principle is found in all true interpretations of dreams.

The value of a dream lies therefore not only to discover the latest material through its content expressed, but in the language used in the narration of the dream and the associations provided by the subject, which will help them all to reveal its true meaning.

The dream and its analysis will, therefore, interesting to understand the true nature of the individual. Therefore, in the following pages we quote relevant excerpts from the lectures of Sigmund Freud, famous authority on this subject and develop further, if necessary, with the help of our knowledge of the sages and seers of India.
